Administrative Financial Analyst, Sr.
Job Description
Under the general direction of the Director H&HS IT, this position is responsible for the analysis, reconciliation, problem resolution and financial reports for the HHS IT department, the HHS Student Technology Center (STC), and the Kronos Administration budgets including major maintenance funds. Coordinate all aspects of accounting for a combined budget in excess of approximately $7.5 million. Manage all purchasing and ledger/account reconciliation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports for Director. Approve all travel reimbursements. Oversee preparation of all intercampus payments and ensure that the proper accounts are charged. Manage the sales and service account for STC and ensure that activity comply with university policies and procedures. Administer all equipment maintenance agreements for IT and STC and research annually to ensure the best price and service contract. Advise on both short and long-term financial planning for the department. Responsible for developing, revising, and reporting on budgetary information to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of HHS, HHS IT and STC senior management, and campus financial management teams. Manage the HHS IT and STC budgets and financial reporting including key financial indicators. Act as key resource on all financial matters and audit compliance. Ensure departmental compliance with UC and UCLA Financial policies and procedures as well as audit and SAS112 requirements.
HHS consists of 10 different business units with a combined annual operating budget in excess of $175 M and over 1300 career and casual employees. Business units include dining services, on and off campus housing operations, the UCLA Conference Center at Lake Arrowhead, the UCLA Guest House, Conference and Catering services, Vending services, Facilities maintenance, Marketing services, Housing Services, and the Community Housing office
