Digital Strategies Manager

Job Description

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications of Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS), the Digital Strategies Manager will conceptualize, create, execute, measure and evaluate social media programs for H&HS. Primary responsibilities include managing, maintaining and growing H&HS’ hospitality social media channels and other digital media projects; ensuring integrated messaging; and compatible branding and marketing in social media programs, particularly those focused on brand awareness and engagement. Ancillary support and collaboration to be provided to campus partners, (i.e. Residential Life) for digital messaging to student housing audience. Core assignments include developing a social media strategic plan and brand guidelines, managing the day-to-day operations and editorial calendar of social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and more; leveraging these channels to strengthen marketing campaigns; monitoring, tracking and reporting on performance of these channels; researching industry best practices for existing and emerging trends in social media; and making recommendations for application to marketing programs. This position requires knowledge of these platforms; integration of tools and third-party applications; and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
