Under the direction of the FoodPro Database Manager, provide operating support for the FoodPro production system, an automated menu management, inventory control, and food cost analysis system. Enter new recipes and revisions to existing recipes into the FoodPro system; including inventory information, purchasing specifications, ingredient amounts, yield amounts, conversation factors, and methods of preparation. Enter quarterly menus for the restaurants into the system and create menu cost reports for management review. Enter preliminary data pre-post cost variances and patron counts, into menu cost target sheets. Create ad-hoc food cost reports on inventory, recipe, cost categories, special events, new products, and theme dinners to assist the department in planning and evaluating programs and changes. Manage meal plans within Blackboard, assigning/removing meal plans as required, issuing credits/debits of meal swipes, requesting credits/debits of stored value amounts, auditing transactions, auditing the use of Temporary Meal Passes, and communicating with Residential Life regarding abuse of the Temporary Meal Pass program. Facilitate updates to the Micros POS system, ensuring keyboards are updated with current sales products and pricing. Review and approve invoices for payment within the UCLA BruinBuy system.
