Job Description

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of the Lake Arrowhead Conference Center; the Sr. Custodian Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Guest Rooms Department including cleaning, preparation, setup, overall condition and décor details of the property. On a regular basis, assist the Assistant Director and Director on special projects, including conference center décor, design, and purchases. Responsible for purchasing, inventory, training, and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Works with vendors to ensure quality and price control. Oversees Guest Rooms staff including interviewing, hiring, training, supervision and discipline. Regularly interacts with approximately 28,000 guests during the Conference season and 4,000 guests during the Bruin Woods season. Works with other department’s to provide and ensure maximum guest service. Assist in the preparation and management of a departmental labor budget of approximately $520,000 and expenditures of a $140,000. Implements and oversees controls to ensure budget compliance in both Guest Rooms and major maintenance.
