H&H Training & Development Office Assistant

Job Description

Provide administrative support to the UCLA Training & Development Office. Enter information into database programs with speed and accuracy.  Must be able to create datasheets, reports, and memos. Responsible for providing additional clerical support with photocopying, printing, distributing and picking up materials, assembling training packages, and setting up for events. Must be able to provide exemplary customer service when answering office phone lines, take accurate messages, and conduct follow-up phone calls.  Must be detail-oriented. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Typing skills sufficient to input data with speed and accuracy. Working knowledge of computers including Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus. Ability to accurately reconcile data reports, create and maintain filing systems, telephone etiquette, customer service focused, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.  Ability to work independently and complete tasks by specified deadlines. Ability to interact effectively with students and staff at all organizational levels and in various campus departments.  Skills in dealing with confidential information.
