UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS) operates all on- and off-campus university-owned housing, UCLA Guest House, UCLA Conference Center at Lake Arrowhead, and the newly opened 254-room UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center. The Hospitality Quality Assurance and Training Manager administers all hospitality training functions for H&HS properties including conducting needs assessments, creating and adapting course content, conducting customized training sessions and workshops, planning and implementing corporate and hotel training initiatives, measuring training effectiveness and ensuring on-the-job application of job skills, guest service, leadership, and department-specific training initiatives. This position helps drive company values and philosophy and ensures all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and vision, and works with property leadership teams to identify and address team members training needs. The Hospitality Quality Assurance and Training Manager is responsible for ensuring that effective training is in place to enable the achievement of desired business results. Training programs focus on a variety of topics including job skills training, company philosophy, and guest service. This position measures the effectiveness of training, tracks progress, performs quality control functions, and assures that training and performance align with standard operating procedures and organizational philosophy.
