Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Director of the UCLA Conference Center & Bruin Woods Family Resort (LACC) and with a reporting relationship to the HR Area Manager at UCLA, the incumbent’s primary responsibilities are to provide customer service in regards to payroll and personnel matters to LACC staff.

Update and maintain accurate and current personnel information in University personnel, payroll and timekeeping systems following established University policies and Union Agreements. Assist in the management of workers’ compensation claims and monitoring employee leaves of absence. Additionally, incumbent interprets University policies and procedures and provides guidance to client departments on related personnel and payroll matters. Incumbent also assists HR Area Manager in employee and labor relations matter as needed. Act as a certified fingerprint roller in order to conduct final candidate background checks.

The UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center is located 100 miles from the UCLA campus in the San Bernardino Mountains.
