HR & Payroll Specialist
Reporting to the HR Area Manager, primary responsibilities are to provide customer service in regards to payroll and personnel matters for hospitality departments within Housing and Hospitality Services – Luskin Conference Center (LCC), Catering Production, University Guest House and Lake Arrowhead Conference Center (LACC).
Maintain accurate and current personnel information in University personnel, payroll and timekeeping systems following established University policies and Union Agreements. Assist in the management of workers’ compensation claims and monitoring employee leaves of absence. Additionally, incumbent interprets University policies and procedures and provides guidance to client departments on related personnel and payroll matters. Additionally, incumbent assists HR Area Manager in employee and labor relations matter as needed. Act as a certified fingerprint roller in order to conduct final candidate background checks.
