HR Projects Assistant
Job Description
The Student Office Assistant will perform a variety of work assignments that support HR & Payroll Center-North’s employment and employee tracking requirements. The majority of assignments include logging and data entry into existing Excel spreadsheets. Student workers will work with other HR-specific software packages, including PeopleAdmin and Skill Survey (can be trained). Additional clerical tasks include preparing packets for New Employee Orientation sessions. Other duties as assigned.
The Student Office Assistant reports to the HRPC-North Employee Recruitment and Retention Manager and will be performing work assignments for this manager as well as for the HRPC-North Project Analyst.
Job Qualifications
Excellent computer data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work on various projects simultaneously. Must be reliable, detail oriented, and well-organized. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Continued employment contingent upon completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
