Job Description

Reporting to the Architectural Design Manager, incumbent acts as an Interior Architectural Designer assisting Interior Designer, Architects, and Construction Managers assigned to new construction, renovations, modifications, and repairs of facilities that are under the management of Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS). Assist with selection of color palette and materials for building finishes, furnishings, and fixtures. Assist with design presentations including color boards, CAD drawings, and 3-D renderings. Coordinate construction phase documents including RFIs and submittals. Other duties include assisting with preliminary project design, computer modeling, construction documents preparation, project management, monitoring construction and consultant activities, and acting as liaison between H&HS Departments and other University Departments.

This position is a one-year contract appointment.
