Lead Guest Rooms Attendant (Lake Arrowhead Lodge)

Job Description

Under the direction of the Lake Arrowhead Lodge Guest Room Supervisor and Assistant Guest Rooms Supervisor, the Lead Guest Room Attendant is responsible for leading a team in completing assigned housekeeping tasks while maintaining the Lake Arrowhead Lodge’s (LAL) high standards of cleanliness, promoting a safe environment and quality service. The Lead Guest Room Attendant will work to execute and enforce LAL service standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role is responsible for directing a team of limited LAL team members and enforcing performance standards. The Lead Guest Room Attendant will assist Guest Rooms Department management with training and evaluation of the Guest Rooms staff assigned to work with them.

Regularly interacts with approximately 30,000 guests during the Conference season and 4,000 guests during the Bruin Woods season. Works with other departments to provide and ensure maximum guest service.

1. Ability to read, understand, and speak English sufficient to determine and carry out job duties.

5. Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds such as laundry bags, vacuums, cleaning supplies, etc.

6. Ability to stand continuously thoughout an eight-hour shift on carpeted and uncarpeted surfaces.

8. Knowledge of departmental cleaning practices procedures.
