Linen Room Attendant (Luskin Conference Center)

Job Description

Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor(s), the Linen Room Attendant is responsible for the processing of all linen needed by Rooms Division, Food and Beverage and conference services departments in accordance with the standards established by the Luskin Conference Center (LCC). Communicate with guests and other departments and practice hospitality and professionalism at all times. The primary function of the Linen Room Attendant includes a designated portion of the laundering, storage, inventory, and distribution of bed and guest room linen, table linen and uniforms for the hotel, restaurant and conference events. The Linen Room Attendant collects or receives and segregates, counts, and records the number of items of soiled linen and uniforms for repair or laundry. Incumbent ensures the laundering of towels and linens and appropriate distribution to each department. Linen Room Attendant will assist in daily counts and inventory of all terry and linens used for the hotel.

Incumbent is also accountable for responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Operate an industrial washing machine and dryer. Tasks are expected to be performed in accordance with LCC’s expectations for quality customer service. Must be available to work a variable shift including overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
