Job Description

Under the direction of the Building Maintenance Manager, the Mason shall perform masonry, plastering, and painting repair work in the On Campus Housing Residence Halls. Construct, maintain, and repair concrete forms, and perform stucco and brick laying work as needed. Prepare and plaster walls and ceilings. Cut, set, and install ceramic and quarry tile and/or marble in showers and kitchen areas, and on floors and walls, in accordance with specifications. Re-grout tiled areas as necessary. Perform finish painting of floors, walls, and ceilings as necessary. Estimate costs for specific repairs. Complete work order forms in accordance with established guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
