Senior Accounting Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Accounting Manager reviews monthly financial statements and prepares monthly variance reports; balances, analyzes, and projects expenditures; and prepares monthly accruals and balances to LCC ledgers within the defined deadlines. In coordination with the Housing Business Office, the Senior Accounting Manager prepares the annual budget and budget revision; is responsible for the timely processing of all payables; and maintains all ledgers and supporting schedules. She/He oversees on-site cash handling and is the property liaison with Housing Services for the processing of payables and collections. The Senior Accounting Manager oversees LCC’s night audit functions and manages day-to-day operations and assignments of hotel and conference center accounting staff, plans and organizes work, and communicates goals and schedules/assigns work.
