Under the direction of the Executive Chef, LCC and UCLA Catering and Executive Sous Chef, the Senior Cook is responsible for assisting in the direction, production, support and service of multiple food products from a specified menu to clients. Assign, lead, and monitor the work of others to ensure quality products and service is provided to clients. Oversee the design and set-up of cooking and buffet stations. Train and motivate staff. Participate in menu and recipe development. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. Follows established timelines for food production as required by event start times and overall production schedule. Interacts with team members and clients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
