UA Assistant Resident Services Coordinator

Job Description

In conjunction with management of University Apartments, the individual assists the Resident Services Coordinators for all University Apartments rental properties with the coordination of apartment rental activities for student complexes. Assist with all aspects of the apartment rental activity, including showing apartments, the preparation and completion of move-in/out paperwork and processes. Maintain and develop reporting systems to track vacancies and tenant information. Monitor occupancy, move-in and move-out dates to assure compliance with University requirements and contract agreement provisions. Assist with the University Apartments Rental Office reception/functions and monitor quality of service making sure that contact with the public is reflective of operating policy during business hours. Act as back up for office receptionist. Assist the Resident Services Coordinator with training of clerical and student staff. Participate in the maintenance of metal key, electronic cardkey, and building entry systems in accordance with University policy. Monitor and manage parking occupancies and submit reports to Area Manager. Assist Resident Services Coordinator with quarterly eligibility verification of residents and follow through with evictions, as needed. Provide property management responsibilities such as walk the apartment complexes and address safety/security concerns with facilities and management. Assist the Resident Services Coordinator to mediate individual, tenant-tenant and tenant-landlord disputes by participating in mediation meetings. Assist other team members, as needed, according to management direction and individual circumstances. Maintain tenant files in an organized and chronological order. Complete other duties as assigned.
