Job Description

In conjunction with management of University Apartments, coordinate apartment allocations with Housing Assignments Office including preparation and completion of the sign-up and move-in/out processes and paperwork, maintain and develop reporting systems to track vacancies and tenant information, monitor occupancy, move-in and move-out dates to ascertain compliance with University requirements and contract agreement provisions. Assist with the Rental Office reception/functions and monitor quality of service making sure that contact with the public is reflective of operating policy. In conjunction with management, train clerical and student staff. Monitor the workflow of the Rental Office staff daily so that priority assignments are completed in a timely manner. Maintain Keytel and keycard inventories and issuances in accordance with University policy. Conduct quarterly eligibility checks of residents and follow through as needed. Walk the complexes and report safety/security concerns to facilities and management. Mediate individual, tenant-tenant and tenant-landlord disputes by holding formal mediation meetings and regularly interpreting/enforcing UCLA policy as it applies in individual circumstances. Complete other duties as assigned.
