Volunteer at the L.A. Food Bank
For over a decade, H&H Team Members have been showing the community what being a True Bruin is all about by volunteering at the L.A. Food Bank during the holiday season.
Give back to the community during the UCLA Winter Holiday Closure and receive paid release time!

DETAILS
- No walk-ins are allowed - all volunteers must register online by 11:59 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022.
- The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 18.
- Volunteers must hold career appointments — limited appointments are not eligible.
- Volunteers who do not report for their shift cannot participate next year. Please be a TRUE BRUIN and honor your time commitment!
- Participants will receive 8 hours of paid release time.
- Volunteer shifts run from 9:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break.

Particpation Terms & Requirements
- Arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.
- Bring your own lunch and water.
- Wear comfortable, warm clothing. Closed-toed shoes are MANDATORY. For safety reasons, please no shorts or tank tops
- Gloves will be provided.
- Volunteers MUST provide their own transportation. Carpooling is encouraged!
- Masks are not required but are recommended. Volunteers should be in compliance with UC vaccination requirements.
REGISTRATION
- SIGN UP ONLINE to reserve your spot (limited spaces available). Sign-ups will close once the 180 spots are filled, or by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 — whichever occurs first.
- Review participation terms and requirements.
- Confirm with your supervisor that you plan to volunteer over the winter closure.
