Job Description

Plateia is an award-winning full-service restaurant located in the Luskin Conference Center. Our food runners are responsible for delivering food orders to guests quickly and accurately, making sure guests have what they need to enjoy their meals, bussing tables, taking dirty dishes to the dish area; and checking in with guests to ensure their experience is a good one. You may also be required to handle various impromptu requests from guests, so flexibility and a good attitude are imperative. This role allows students to work around their school schedules and develop skills in the field of hospitality that will translate well into other professions. Among them: Teamwork, communication, time management, multi-tasking, and customer service, to name just a few.

Job Qualifications

This an excellent opportunity for an individual who loves being part of a team and helping others.

• Work up to 19 hours per week
• Day, night and weekend shifts available
• Two free meals per shift
• Experience is great, but not necessary
