DINING SERVICES
Renowned for its exceptional food, UCLA has held the top spot in the “Best College Food in America” ranking for six consecutive years and boasts one of the largest self-operating university dining programs in the nation. UCLA Dining is nationally acclaimed for its high-quality cuisine, cutting-edge facilities, innovative services and commitment to sustainability. As the largest department within H&H, UCLA Dining’s 600+ team members work tirelessly to prepare and serve fresh, healthy and delicious meals to students, faculty, staff and visitors each day. With more than 6.5 million meals served annually across four all-you-care-to-eat restaurants and six quick-service locations, the dedication of every team member—from chefs and cooks to servers and dining room attendants—is vital to ensuring the satisfaction of students living in UCLA’s on-campus housing facilities.

HOUSING SERVICES
The UCLA Housing team oversees student housing contracts, managing more than 20,000 account transactions annually. In addition to handling contracts, the team ensures students stay informed by updating the Housing website with relevant content and sending timely emails about important deadlines, move-in and move-out details and other essential information. The Housing office operates through seven specialized units: accounting services, community housing, database management, housing accounts receivable, housing assignments, housing cashiers and special projects.

ROOMS DIVISION & MAINTENANCE
The Rooms Division and Maintenance teams are dedicated to efficiently operating and maintaining all H&H housing facilities, including on-campus residences and University Apartments. Their responsibilities encompass the management of front desks within residential housing, access control and safety hubs, housekeeping and maintenance. In addition to residential buildings, the Rooms Division oversees non-residential facilities within the H&H community, such as Carnesale Commons, Covel Commons, De Neve Podium, the Northwest Campus Auditorium, the Inn at UCLA and Tom Bradley International Hall.

UNIVERSITY APARTMENTS
University Apartments (UA) owns and operates all of UCLA”s off-campus housing facilities. The UA system includes more than 5,000 off-campus apartments in 24 separate locations. This inventory includes University Village for students with families and Weyburn Terrace for single graduate students. Services provided by the University Apartment team members include rental office administrative services, resident relations, maintenance (buildings and grounds), and housekeeping. As of fall 2017, University Apartments was home to approximately 5300 residents occupying 5,000 rental units. Residents include graduate students as the largest segment, then undergraduates, followed by faculty, and then postdoctoral appointees.
